6 Prom Perfect Makeup Trends from Fashion Month

Fashion week doesn’t just give us insight into style trends for the upcoming seasons, but beauty trends as well. Whether you’re planning on a more natural look or you’re ready to go all out with your makeup, these are the trends from Spring Fashion Month that will give you all the best beauty ideas for your prom look.

1. Coral Lips
The models at Roland Mouret all sported the prettiest shade of coral to accentuate their lips. This look is perfect if you want to add a little color to your face, but don’t want it to be the main focus of your ensemble.

2. Violet Eyes
The models at Derek Lam sported violet eyes and pale lips as they strutted down the runway, giving them a girly and sporty feel. We love this look paired with dresses in whites, creams, and lighter hues.

3. Fresh Faced
Jenny Packham and Alexander Wang all made their clothing the center of attention as they sent models down the runway with little to no makeup. While the no makeup look might be a little too natural for prom, try light mascara and only a brush of powder foundation.

4. Long Lashes
This doll-eyed look from Paul & Joe is one of our favorites for prom. Full, long lashes are easy to achieve with some fake lashes and your trusty mascara. This look will pair perfectly with any gown and will give you a fun and flirty feel for your big night.

5. Rosy Lips and Cheeks
Véronique Leroy gave new meaning to the term “doll-faced” with this rosy look. Grab your favorite blush and pink lipstick and you’ll be prom ready in no time.
